| The process used to remove the pollen from this beeswax is natural and does not use any chemicals. Through an intense filtering system that utilizes an absorption technique, we are left with a wax that is clean, filtered and when melted looks exactly like water! This is great for creating transparent glazes, over photo transfers, and when mixing crisp whites, blues and purples. Some artists are using this for all their painting, although we still prefer the natural, yellow wax/medium for most of our painting needs. To make this into medium, mix with damar resin (crystals)... never with damar varnish! We sell it in one pound (454 g) units. We will include our handout notes "How to make your own medium".
